Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas
Salamonie SP, IN A great camp site and a beautiful sunrise.
Indiana and Illinois highways
Moraine View SP, IL. This park is on top of a terminal moraine. Sadly, there wasn’t a place where you could get a good picture showing it. Approaching from the south, the climb to the top was relatively steep (for Illinois). The north side was a very gentle slope which was just the opposite of the moraine that we lived on in Indiana.
Indian Creek campground, COE on Mark Twain Lake, MO.
Weston Bend SP, MO And another strange RV. Yes, they spent the night in it.
Riverside campground just below the dam on Kanopolis Lake, KS. Another COE site Only 5 bucks and it power and water at the site. A very good deal.
Camped in the parking lot of the Mid-America Air Museum, Liberal, KS The plane on the left was flown non-stop from Casablanca to Los Angeles 7,683 miles in 58 hours 38 minutes. The plane on the right is a Navy Corsair, like the one Jesse L Brown died in. See the movie Devotion for more details
