Fremont Indian SP Castle Rock Campground, UT a place that I had camped in back in 1997. Hasn’t changed much.
US Highway 50 as it leaves Utah and goes into Nevada
Lower Lehman Campground Great Basin NP. The night sky in a Dark Park and then a great sunrise
We had planned to spend the next night in a BLM park but with snow in the forecast we opted to go to a private park in Ely Nevada. Very glad we did. Not only did we have electricity we had Pizza delivered!
The next day back on the road
Some of the Alpacas at our next stop, Sawdust Alpaca Farm near Fallon , NV.
Pyramid Lake as seen from Nevada Road 447, a little used road that took us up to the NE corner of California
On the Oregon side of the California border is Goose Lake SP. A place we camped in back in 2004. The lake is mostly dried up (drought) but the campground is very nice.
Leaving Goose Lake SP we headed west and north to Eugene where we had a nice dinner with Courtney and Dave. The next day we drove home. This concludes the report on our 2022 fall camping trip.
