Arizona
Our first stop was at Canyon de Chelly National Monument, which is where this background picture was taken. the canyon itself is pretty amazing and I doubt if these pictures do it justice. One of the main ruins is named White House. Unfortunately for us, the White House Overlook was blocked off so, no pictures for us.
From Canyon de Chelly we went to Navajo National Monument via highway 83A which crosses the Colorado on this bridge at a narrow canyon at a place called Marble Canyon

At Navajo National Monument with a nice sunset
From the Colorado we climbed up towards Jacob Lake which is where you catch the road to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Along the way we had some great views of the Vermilion Cliffs
In the morning I hiked down the canyon to take some pictures of the Betatakin cliff dwelling. The pictures don’t do it justice as I had cloudy skies and dwellings the same color as the cliffs.
