Camping
Our last night in Medicine Bow National Forest was spent at Sugarloaf campground at an elevation of 10,200 feet. The highest any of us had camped. We were quite near the tree line and got some great late afternoon light. Although this page has quite a few pictures from the one campground, they represent just a few of the dozens we took.
Yes, there were some mosquitoes present and Mickey didn't want to be bothered
while pressing flowers.

Relaxing.
By Monday night it was time for another shower and time for us to start heading home. We spent the night at Terry Ranch RV Park, off of I-25, south of Cheyenne and just north of the Colorado line. In addition to the normal amenities found at such parks, this one had a very nice restaurant where we had our last dinner with Brent and Mickey.
From there Gail and I headed north and east into southern South Dakota where we stayed at Angostura State Rec area. A nice, clean campground along side a lake.
For those who care about such things, that is a Prindle 16 in the middle
picture. For those that don't, if memory serves me correctly, Harry and
Susan used to race these and were national champs.
Our final stop on this trip was in the north eastern part of South Dakota where we stayed at Fisher Grove State Park. 29 sites and 4 campers. This bridge, which you have to cross to get into the campground says it has a 5 ton limit which we probably exceed by a few hundred pounds. There were two larger rigs in there before us. One of these days you are going to read about this thing collapsing with a very heavy RV on it.
Our final campsite (for this trip)!
