It was late September when we returned to Nova Scotia and we had reservations in Maine for the 2nd of October so we went through Nova Scotia pretty quickly, after we did the Cabot Trail.
After getting off the ferry from Newfoundland, we returned to Mira River Provincial Park, Nova Scotia for the night. You can see just a hint of the fall colors starting to appear-especially if you compare this to the last picture on the Nova Scotia page.
The Cabot Trail is the name of the road that curves around the Cape Breton Highlands. Canadians consider this to be one of the prettiest drives in their country. As the following pictures suggest, they aren’t wrong.
We spent two days going around the Cabot Trail and ended in Whycocomagh Provincial Park where we saw this sunset on our last night in Nova Scotia
